After practicing a book review at home and revising how you could have improved them, today you're going to check you can write a book review without any help. This is your task:

Write a book review. Organise your ideas in three paragraphs:

Paragraph 1: what was the last book you read, title, author, reasons for reading it.

Paragraph 2: what is it about?

Paragraph 3: Did you enjoy it? Why (not)? Would you recommend it?

Today I'm going to give you back your book reviews. I've corrected over ten. These are the criteria followed in the correction:

• Writing plan (exercise 1 page 26): 2 points.
• Writing plan (instructions on exercise 3 page 26): 3 points.
• Word order for subject + verb + object: 1 point.
• Word order for adjectives and adverbs: 1 point.
• Past tense verbs: 1 point.
• Extra-grammar and content: 1 point.
• Presentation and creativity: 1 point.

No os sorprendáis si, de repente, en medio de el blog de clase, aparecen entradas sobre evaluaciones educativas externas internacionales. Estoy haciendo un curso para familiarizarme con ellas y nos piden que utilicemos un blog para estar en contacto. Como mi conocimiento previo es muy bajo, la información, en un principio, será de un nivel muy básico.
